Liposuction is generally suitable for patients who have stubborn areas of fat that are resistant to diet or exercise, but it does not contribute to overall weight loss. Whereas weight loss surgery is a long-term weight loss solution, when conventional dieting and exercise methods have not been successful, weight loss surgery could help in achieving your health and weight loss goals.
The amount of time between consultation to surgery will vary from person to person as it depends on your suitability and medical requirements as well as surgeon availability. However, there must be a minimum of 14 days following consultation before surgery.
At your consultation you will meet your dedicated patient advisor who will be with you at every stage of your journey. To prepare for your consultation, we would recommend that you do some initial research such as browsing our website, so you understand each weight loss procedure.
We would advise that you bring the following things to your consultation: a photo ID, a list of any medication you take, your GP details, details of any specialist doctors you see and of course, any questions you may have.
