This garment is appropriate for all forms of breast surgery, in particular sub-muscular breast augmentation,
and breast reduction.
What does this garment do?
The upper band of the garment keeps the implant in place by applying appropriate
pressure to the breasts. The bra gives ultimate support. This bra has velcro closures
at both ends so that it can be adjusted easily.
How long do I wear it for?
Patients need to wear a binder for 2-4 weeks post surgery, and a normal support
bra for 4 weeks post surgery. After this 4 week period you can then slowly introduce normal
bras.
