What does this garment do?

The upper band of the garment keeps the implant in place by applying appropriate pressure to the breasts. The bra gives ultimate support. This bra has velcro closures at both ends so that it can be adjusted easily.

How long do I wear it for?

Patients need to wear a binder for 2-4 weeks post surgery, and a normal support bra for 4 weeks post surgery. After this 4 week period you can then slowly introduce normal bras.

What does this garment do?

How long do I wear it for?

The three panels of the binder apply the correct pressure to the abdominal region, which aids final result . This stops fluid from building up, it prevents swelling and reduces bleeding. The binder is fastened with Velcro to allow easy adjustment of binder.

Tummy Tuck Patients need to wear binder for 6 weeks. Larger abdominoplasty procedures often have to wear a binder AND a girdle. You will be discharged in one of these post surgery, however due to the length of time the garment needs to be worn patients often feel that is better to replace the garment.

What does this garment do?

All liposculpture patients need compression to reduce swelling and bruising – this girdle provides patients with the compression required for post-operative recovery to achieve optimum end results. The girdle encourages the shaping of the new profile to a slimmer contour.

How long do I wear it for?

Patients need to wear girdle for 6 weeks, occasionally your cosmetic surgeon may request you keep it on for longer. After 7 days you can take girdle off and shower, but the girdle still needs to be worn. The Hospital Group will be discharging you in one of these post surgery, however due to the length of time the garment needs to be worn patients often feel that is better to replace the garment.

Chest Band For Post Operative Breast Surgery

What surgical procedure is this garment suitable for?

Ideal for Breast Augmentation patients who have had sub-muscular implants.

What does this garment do?

Improves the end result of your breasts, enhances breast shape. This is worn instead of bandages as the strapping of bandages can cause blisters. The use of the chest band eliminates risks of blisters and sores forming.

How long do I wear it for?
