Lip fillers, cheek fillers
As well as filling lines, fillers can also be used to add fullness to lips to enhance a smile or create a subtle pout. They can also be used on the cheeks to add definition and softness to the cheekbones. Modern fillers such as Juvéderm® ULTRA are soft, safe and non-permanent, lasting for around 6-9 months.
Dermal Fillers: How long does it take?
The treatment itself takes up to half an hour (the injection process itself is 15-20 minutes). You will see the benefit immediately. The results can last around 6-9 months and up to a year depending on the individual. What's the difference between Juvéderm® ULTRA and wrinkle-relaxing treatments (i.e. BOTOX®)?
The Juvéderm® ULTRA range of products and wrinkle-relaxing treatments (botulinum toxin type A) work in different ways.
The Juvéderm® ULTRA range of products mimics the hydrating and lifting effect of your skin’s natural hyaluronic acid (HA), which keeps the skin hydrated and elastic. It fills in and smoothes away facial lines and acne scars, other skin contour deficiencies, and lost volume. The most appropriate lines to treat with the Juvéderm® ULTRA range of products are those that are described as static—this means the deep facial lines you can see when your face is still. Static lines are due to lack of elasticity of the skin caused by sun damage, smoking, and unfortunately genetics. Wrinkle-relaxing treatments work in a targeted way to relax the tiny dynamic muscles that cause frown lines, smoothing out wrinkles for 4 months or longer.

Anti Wrinkle Treatment
BOTOX® is a simple, non-surgical, anti wrinkle treatment that can temporarily smooth lines for both men and women. One 10-minute treatment, a few tiny injections, and within days there's a noticeable improvement in those persistent frown lines.
The treatment is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those lines to form over time. It works by temporarily reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause persistent lines. Within days you should see an improvement that can last up to around 6 months.

The main reason to have this form of treatment is to treat unsightly and embarrassing excessive perspiration in the underarm area, otherwise known as hyperhidrosis. The area is injected with botox, which reduces sweating in the area for up to 6 months.
