Who does it suit?
Mole removal treatment is suitable for both men and women.
How long does it take?
Mole removal treatment usually takes no more than half an hour. The area is numbed with local anaesthetic, the mole is neatly removed and the area is closed and a dressing put in place. When initial redness/swelling has faded, this will leave a neat scar, which should be barely noticeable, certainly compared to the mole.
What is involved?
Mole removal is a really simple procedure. Local anaesthetic will be administered to the area and then the mole will be removed using a scalpel. A dressing will be applied and you can then return home. This is a day case.
What else should I consider?
It is important to remember that most moles are benign (harmless). Our surgeons are expert in the field.
