Before

Unhappy with her appearance and bullied at university, Lowri decided it was time for action.

Lowri hated pictures of herself, and when she started university and was subjected to bullying taunts from other girls she knew she couldn’t live with her nose any longer. A cruel comment on a facebook photograph was the final straw, and she decided surgery was the only option.

The Hospital Group performed Rhinoplasty surgery in August 2008, reshaping and enhancing the appearance of her nose.

Lowri now feels more confident and is the first to upload photographs on to her facebook profile. She also says the emotional pain has been taken away and the bullies have since apologised.

She says: “When the bullying started, it added to my own insecurities, and it had just reached a point where I couldn’t take it any longer. Now I couldn’t be happier – in fact all my mates say I’m the biggest poser of the lot of us!”
