Before

Liz overheard someone criticising the shape of her nose, then cried after seeing her wedding photos and decided it was time to save up for a new nose!

After overhearing a derogatory comment about my nose I decided I had to save up for a nose job! I was always self-conscious about my nose from the side angle but this comment put the cherry on top of the cake. This guy said something like “her face is nice but she’s got a funny nose”. And after looking through my wedding photographs I actually cried, not through reliving the happy memories but because my nose looked so awful! With the wedding all paid for I decided to put all my spare cash towards having my nose done.

Once I’d saved up, I contacted The Hospital Group. I had a consultation and was really comfortable with my surgeon so I booked in for a rhinoplasty almost immediately. I was only in hospital one night and then had to wear a nose cast for seven days. I had bruising across my eyes and nose for about two weeks but I really didn’t mind. I was happy to carry on as normal, going shopping and picking the children up from school because I knew that once the swelling and bruising had subsided I’d have a lovely new nose!

I know surgery can be expensive but I don’t think you can put a price on how you feel.
