A friend's bad experience had put Liz off having veneers...until she found NuSmile!

I had considered veneers for years

I had thought about having dental veneers for many years, but a bad experience at the dentist when I was 16 had completely put me off going through with any treatment.

Apart from my own previous experience at the dentist, some years ago a friend of mine had veneers fitted in the traditional way. The dentist gave her an anaesthetic and ground her teeth down to small stubs. She had to have a week off work to recover too!

The "NuSmile way"

When I heard about the new alternative to having veneers fitted I was a little sceptical as you may imagine - going on my own and my friend's experiences. However I had thought about veneers for such a long time I wanted to find out more, so I watched a video of a patient having the veneers fitted the "NuSmile way".

My Consultation

During my consultation I talked about my own and my friends bad experiences and was reassured that the NuSmile veneers would not require the grinding down of my existing teeth or any painful injections either.

As I watched I saw the patient in no discomfort whatsoever, and no injections were used and no grinding down of existing teeth either. Watching that video really did give me the confidence to arrange my consultation.

Having My NuSmile Veneers Fitted

Because I knew what to expect after reading, watching the video and speaking to my dentist at my consultation, I was relatively calm and relaxed. I was being told what was taking place as I had my teeth cleaned and my NuSmile Veneers fitted. The whole procedure took just over an hour and I felt no pain or any discomfort at all. I had an impression taken during a clinical examination which was sent away for my NuSmile veneers to be made from. I was to come back two week later to have them fitted, and by now I was now actually looking forward to it.

I wish I'd have done it sooner!

The only regret I have is not having it done sooner. My husband says I look fantastic and he is so impressed he is also thinking of having NuSmile Veneers fitted too!

As a result of having my NuSmile Veneers I now take my dental health more seriously and stick to my dental plan to keep my teeth healthy and looking good.

The first look at my new teeth as I sat up was something that I will always remember. The transformation was astonishing, and I had an incredible new smile.
