Vaser® High Def Overview
VASER - Assisted High Definition Liposculpture, or VASER® Hi DefTM, is the latest body sculpting, or body contouring technique.
The procedure creates a sculpted, athletic appearance in both men and women by precisely removing both superficial and deep fat around muscle groups in order to enhance the visibility of the underlying muscle formation.
The technique was developed through the intense study of muscular groups in the male and female anatomy. VASER Hi Def is performed using VASER ultrasonic technology. It selectively liquefies the fat and allows the cosmetic surgeon to target specific layers of fat to create the desired sculpted appearance of the muscles without damaging connective tissue.
VASER Hi Def is a more scientifically advanced procedure to the already popular ultrasonic VASER Lipo®. VASER Lipo is a minimally invasive procedure that uses state-of-the-art ultrasonic technology to gently reshape the body, and usually carried out under local anaesthetic. What distinguishes the VASER Lipo procedure to traditionally liposuction techniques is its ability to differentiate targeted fat from other important tissues – such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. The VASER Hi Def technique takes body sculpting one step further by precisely removing both deep and superficial fat in between key muscle groups, selectively leaving some fat to amplify the underlying muscle tone.
