Fiona Holdcroft chose the gastric band - a great decision!

Fiona Holdcroft started to gain weight at the age of 17 when she was pregnant with her first child, she went on to have another 3 children and after each pregnancy she seemed to get heavier and heavier. Due to the weight gain she also suffered with high cholesterol and blood pressure.

After years of struggling with her weight, going to slimming clubs and trying fad diets, Fiona finally decided to take action. She chose a gastric band procedure and the weight soon started to drop off. So much so she went to collect her two sons from their army barracks after their visit to Iraq, neither of them recognised her! It was only when they heard her voice the penny dropped and they couldn''t believe how slim their mum was!

She now counts her life as complete and is the person she has always wanted to be!
