her incredible new smile!
I hated my smile for as long as I can remember. The reason was my lack of confidence
about showing my teeth. I always dreamed of having nice white teeth which I could
be proud of.
I always wanted to do something about my teeth, but I guess, like so many other
people, I had always been too scared of the dentist. All that drilling and those
injections really did keep me away, and no matter how hard I tried to put it to
the back of my mind I just couldn't bring myself to go to a dentist to have something
done.
When I first heard of NuSmile painfree veneers I must admit I was a little wary.
This was mainly because anything associated with dentistry, to me was very frightening.
I found out more about NuSmile Veneers by reading information about them and watching
the actual procedure carried out on video. I was very impressed! This was something
that I new I could cope with as there were no drills or needles for injections being used
to fit the veneers.
The patient's results on the video that I saw were remarkable! After seeing this, and
know knowing that there was no drilling or pain involved I arranged a consultation.
My consultation was very straight forward and involved me explaining what I didn't like about my teeth and the improvements I would like to see. I selected the colour
I would like my teeth to be, and had a clinical examination. An impression was taken
of my teeth during the clinical examination, and it was explained that the impression
would be sent away to be used to create my NuSmile Veneers from. In around two week
my Veneers would be back and ready to be fitted. The NuSmile Veneers would be part
of my dental plan, which I agreed to follow to keep my teeth in good shape.
This was it, the day I had been putting off for years, the day I was finally having
something done about my teeth!
My dentist was lovely and put me at ease immediately. The whole treatment took less
that an hour and a half. My teeth were cleaned and the veneers were first placed
on my teeth so I could check the colour to make sure I was happy. Then a bonding
solution was applied to the veneers and they were placed again and this time bonded
to my teeth. Excess resin was removed and the veneers were shaped and that was it!
I was given a mirror and sat up to take a look. Amazing is just not enough to describe
my thoughts at this point! I expected to be pleased with the result but this exceeded
all my expectations.
Later that day when I walked back into my house my boyfriend was shocked, he never
expected me to have the confidence to go though with it. Now when I look in the
mirror I can't believe the difference, I never thought my teeth could change the
way I look and feel so much!
