A healthy protein-rich breakfast makes you feel fuller for longer, which reduces the urge to snack through the day. Missing breakfast is associated with unhealthy snacking and overeating, weight gain and obesity.

A fascinating study published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, has identified that it is the eyes that make a face appear fundamentally human and alive.

“There’s something fundamentally important about seeing a face and knowing that the lights are on and someone is home” says Thalia Wheatley of Dartmouth College.

The experiment compared artificial to human faces and identified that the eyes were indeed the key. The results suggest that people scrutinise faces and particularly the eyes for evidence that a face is alive.
